

Designed by OMA and LMN Architects, built by Hoffman Construction, and opened in 2004. Considered both "the most important new library to be built in a generation" (New Yorker) and a case study for the interplay between building complexity and individual differences in wayfinding (Take One Building by Dalton and Holscher).

I find it one of the most visually interesting and curious buildings in any US city. A visit is in order any time I'm in Seattle.
